Dr Mais Ria is an experienced and approachable General Practitioner who provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages.
She has a special interest in children’s health, women’s health (including contraceptive services), and aesthetic medicine. Dr Ria is passionate about providing supportive care to women and families, and enjoys building long-term, trusting relationships with her patients.
Originally from Yorkshire, England, Dr Ria completed her GP qualification in the UK in 2015 before moving to Australia in 2018. She has worked in the Illawarra region since, and loves working in a setting that reminds her of the countryside communities she grew up in.
Dr Ria holds postgraduate qualifications in Medical Education and Coaching, and is committed to training and mentoring the next generation of GPs.

She works as a solo GP from The Village Medical Practice in Woonona, as a solo GP from the rooms of 31 Johnson Street Kiama Downs, and also in Private Aesthetics work at Dr Mais Private Aesthetics, ATOS Beauty Wollongong QUO and Business Lounge Shellharbour. Dr Mais is also paid by the Department of health for her infant vaccination programs (Australian Immunisation Registry).
