$45 to $47 per hour Casual Registered Nurse Job Kiama, General Practice Nurse Wollongong & Illawarra

We want to build our nursing team with a Registered Nurse who shares a genuine passion for great patient care, provides excellent service, and wants a workplace that is fun and supportive.
Pay: We pay above award between $45–$47 per hour + super (casual loading included), depending on skills & prior experience. This will be reviewed and adjusted upward depending on performance within the first 3 months.
Type: Casual position.
Availability: Flexible – 1 to 2 days a week. Mondays and/or Thursdays are ideal (8.30am to 5.30pm), with the option of half days on Tuesdays.
The role is Registered Nurse Level 2.
The Role
Providing dedicated, compassionate and genuine high quality nursing support and care to patients, and working closely with their GPs to achieve the best outcomes for our community.
The role includes:
- Childhood and adult vaccinations
- Blue book checks for babies and kids
- Wound care and dressings
- Health assessments
- INR checks
- ECGs
- Coordination of the treatment room
- Care planning with generous time allocation
There is excellent support for learning on the job if needed. We are a young, enthusiastic, compassionate team looking for another great nurse to join our practice.
Essential
- A genuine focus on providing great care for patients.
- Interest and passion for learning.
- Good computer skills.
Optional (Preferred)
- Experience working in general practice.
- Experience using Best Practice software.
- Knowledge of dressings, ECG, baby checks and fingerprick testing.
