Home Visits
Some GPs in Kiama Downs can provide home visits if you are already a pre-existing patient at the practice and if you live within a 10 kilometre radius of the practice.
These services are only by negotiation as not all GPs are able to do this.
The fees for this service are very high since it takes your doctor roughly three times the length of time they spend with you to get to your home and back. Attending you at home generally means your GP will need to take 45 to 60 minutes out of their work diary in order to get to you, prepare your file and information before attending your home, and to bring any equipment with them that might reasonably be often expected to be needed for the appointment.
These services are generally limited to those who are too unwell to use community services to attend the practice.

These services are only available to preexisting patients of a doctor in Kiama Downs (i.e. generally not to new patients).
Nursing Home or Residential Care Visits
Dr Tom Hilliar in Kiama Downs can sometimes provide nursing home care if you are already a pre-existing patient at the practice and if you are moving to Bluehaven Care in Kiama.
This service is only by negotiation and requires discussion prior with our admin team by email and usually with Dr Tom.
The fees for this service are very high since it takes your GP roughly three to four times the length of time they spend with you to get to Kiama and back from the practice, check in to the facility (with Covid requirements).
Generally appointments require your GP to take 60 to 75 minutes out of their work diary in order to get to you, see you and return in time for their next patient.
