Dr Briony Copelin has interests in the management of chronic and complex disease. She also is focussed in obesity and metabolic syndrome and is currently doing additional training in these fields.
Briony did her extended skills training in Emergency Medicine in Darwin and completed the Emergency Medicine Certificate during that time. She has also completed mental health skills training, contraceptive implant training and can help with supporting women in unwanted pregnancy including medical terminations of pregnancy.
Dr Briony Copelin obtained fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in March 2022. She completed her medical degree from The University of Sydney in 2015 and did her earlier training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney.
She has since lived and worked in many regional areas including Lismore, Orange, Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga and Darwin.
Her hobbies include anything outdoors and being active. She loves the ocean and the mountains. She also enjoys reading, travel and seeking out the best coffee.
