If you are not sure if your issue is urgent please call EPAS for advice (number below) or 1800 022 222 for general medical advice.
Urgent Issues (if you are a patient of the practice)
Call and ask for your usual doctor within business hours and tell our reception team that you are pregnant and need urgent advice.
Alternatively call EPAS between 9am and 12 midday, Monday to Friday, (Wollongong Early Pregnancy Assessment Service) on 02 4253 4270 or through Wollongong Switchboard on 02 4222 5000.
If EPAS aren't available please consider presentation to your nearest emergency department or call 000 if unwell or concerned.
Emergencies in Pregnancy
Some common issues in pregnancy include (but are not limited to) bleeding, reduced movements of baby or abdominal pains.
These require emergency or urgent care.
In any emergency please call 000 (112 from mobiles).
